13 July, 2008 .. Hey diddle diddle

Hey diddle diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little dog laughed to see such fun,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.

How about:

Hey diddle diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
the goose flew under the moon.
The War Kitten laughed to see such fun,
and the ...

I was shooting pics of the moon, when I heard the flock of geese heading my way from the neighbor's pond. I had the camera on the tripod, and it's "get it off, get it off!!! Get it off the tripod!" Barely, changed settings, just in time to catch them going over the house, with the moon
behind them.

Granny, the Ultimate Original War Kitten, was munching her food, then she settled into my lap while I preened the lumps out of her fur. Must have been doing it right, because usually if she's rubbed the wrong way, you lose an arm. Tonight, with 60 degrees and no clouds, she seemed happy to share a cool July evening.

"Cool July evening"... is that possible...

Elephant ears have reached 28 inches.

Missouri and Iowa were free from radar images and satellite cloud images today. Lloyd reported much progress at Marshall, but still a couple of more weeks to work there.

Deja Vu... Pawnee 235 landed for fuel. Based at Mt. Vernon, he's picking up some local work.

G'ma Airplane, clear skies & no photos to shoot.
