I was shooting pics of the moon, when I heard the flock of geese heading my way from the neighbor's pond. I had the camera on the tripod, and it's "get it off, get it off!!! Get it off the tripod!" Barely, changed settings, just in time to catch them going over the house, with the moon
behind them.
Granny, the Ultimate Original War Kitten, was munching her food, then she settled into my lap while I preened the lumps out of her fur. Must have been doing it right, because usually if she's rubbed the wrong way, you lose an arm. Tonight, with 60 degrees and no clouds, she seemed happy to share a cool July evening.
"Cool July evening"... is that possible...

Missouri and Iowa were free from radar images and satellite cloud images today. Lloyd reported much progress at Marshall, but still a couple of more weeks to work there.
