7 Nov., 2009 -- Airplane day

The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1218 hangar
in Willow Springs hosted about 15 Boy Scouts working on
their Aviation Merit Badges. They came from all over the
Ozarks for classroom work, the flight simulator, and to rub
elbows with "real pilots".

During pot luck breakfast - some things are more important
than airplanes.

And we always have to do the official business meeting.

Now, back to the fun stuff!

Cam commandeered my Canon SD600 today, and shot everything!

Cam saw the poster and yelled "Hey, my Mom works for Modot!"

Of all his photos, this one is his favorite. Donuts! Donuts!

Second place for favorite was Cleco.

Oooh, new logbook! I think he's hooked on flying.
He wanted another flight this afternoon. But.....
Aw, shucks... gotta finish homework! And it's SATURDAY!

Didja bring me any leftover bacon? huh? didja? huh?
I smell bacon, didja bring me some, huh?

6 Nov., 2009 -- Wow! Look at THAT!

The C130 landed as Cam and I prepped the Archer for the trip back from
Jefferson City to Mtn. Grove this morning.
We watched the last of the Hueys start up, testing and hovering.

Look out, little guys, I'm biggern y'all. Yummy, crunchy outside, soft inside!

I guess this is why they call him "Fat Albert".

We finally took off, climbed out above the turbulence, and did some
sightseeing around Jeff City.

Corn maze just off the southeast end of the airport.

Cam did some of the piloting on the way home!

Well, maybe not.

Jeff city - the BIG dogs

Three landed ahead of me, three followed me in. There will be a C130 on the ramp in the morning when I head back to 1MO in the morning.
