Painted some more photos this evening, down around the pond. Took these with cell phone, with flash. Had to Photoshop them. They are so horrible, they are almost good. Almost.
There was lightning storm to the west, and to the north, and the fireflies were dancing out in the hay field. They are those little green specks in the foreground. The sky was clear with Venus in the western sky. Couldn't fit in the almost-full moon. These were time exposures, 30 to 40 seconds, that's why they are a little blurry. Didn't use a tripod, just braced the camera on the deck railing and guessed at the focus. Then kitty kept bumping into me, meeeooow, pay attention to meeee.
Afternoon shower, it almost looks like a painting.
This is my bowling buddy Mickey. She's been chumming a baby raccoon all spring. Mickey and Rickey seem to be getting along fine. Don't run out of snacks!
After a brief thunderstorm this afternoon, there was a partial rainbow. I tried to get it to flow into my potato garden but it didn't reach. Oh, well, it was pretty, anyway.
Stinker, the stray... he's growing fast, like the weeds around the house! Eye see you! Fonda and LAD and friend Janice were heading home from a weekend in Branson, Randy and I drove to Springfield to meet up for breakfast. Our stray kitty Stinker romped just before dark. Those would be good eyes to magnify!

A momma and a daughter, 335 miles apart, snapping photos on (at least) the 25th of each month. We mostly shoot Nikon, but also have some Canon and Olympus thrown in for good measure.
