12 Sept., 2009 -- Wore ourselves out

Fonda, LAD and I went 'tiquing. Fonda found some stuff for scrapbooking, some trinkets dated 1943.

LAD spotted a booth with old toys. We didn't buy any of those!

How's that for "run hard & put away wet"

So we went home, fixed a water dish for the monarch butterflies that are migrating and resting in the pine trees.

LAD wore granny out on the swing set... "higher!"

11 Sept., 2009 -- Iowa bound

On the way to Iowa, in northern MO. Couldn't pass it up!

Half mast for 911.

Jaws!

Yesterday.

8 Sept., 2009 -- Hurry, make more hay

Uh oh, here comes a thunder-buster!

Bob was raking, Roy was scooping and rolling...

They did it, Bob and Roy beat the rain storm.

Meanwhile, Jerry unloaded and Lloyd scooped and pushed.

So THAT'S where LAD gets it...

And to make it more interesting, a Natl. Guard heli made four practice landings while it rained!

And I waited for a rainbow, but it didn't happen.
How do you like the parking arrangement?
Had to fold up the mirrors to make it fit.

Tried to post last night, but my PC quit working (again).
It tries to boot up, then shuts down, over and over. Had it
fixed almost a year ago. Guess it's time for a new one!

7 Sept., 2009 -- Holiday

Well, more like Holiday Over. The Lance went back to Michigan.

Tim and Tammy stopped for a visit on their way back to Mtn. View, Memphis, New Jersey. They do get around! Tim's wearing a 2009 OSH hat... ooooh, not fair. (Tim's the one in the pilot seat of their Bonanza).

Neighbor Roy makes hay while the sun shines...
If the sun would just keep shining, I could go to OK and KS to take pictures.
But those old clouds just keep filling the sky, after morning fog.
