4 April, 2009 -- Work, work work aaaache

There's still part of it hanging on.

We will have a new roof installed on Monday, so we cleaned up most of the roofing out of the yard, so the new crew would have room to work. Removed lots of the sheet metal screws, and drug the big magnet around to pick up the ones that fell out. Stainless steel screws are not supposed to be magnetic, but 75 percent of these are.

This is the wrong way to install a mobile home roof. It's supposed to be fastened to the framing members, not just screwed to the existing roof. We got scammed by Roof King. The company won't do anything about it. Perhaps the Attorney General will.

Then I dug 6 holes for my new blueberry bushes. At least I STARTED on the holes.

Air Evac passed over on its way to Springfield, but didn't land for fuel.

I got my Wings reward pin today. Fly maneuvers, attend seminars, and take online courses, get the reward once a year, or so. The FAA changed the program, so it's back to basics, since the old Wings phases don't count any more; I was up to 6, of 10 phases. No more paperwork, it's all done on the internet.
Hostas emerging. It's spring!
