22 Feb., 2009 -- So I did

Snowed (see yesterday's post), and I shoulda made a snowman.

So I did.

What are those toothpicks for arms. i think that's the tiniest snowman I've ever seen!

The arms are stems of spiderwort, a fast-growing weed that takes over the garden and lawn, that has those little blue flowers that look like an elephant's head.
Nose is the core out of a little carrot, the eyes and buttons are sunflower seeds. The hat is part of an elephant ear stem, the mouth is just a little curly piece of flower garden debris.
All that snow was in the shady part of the deck, see picture yesterday.
