14 July, 2012 -- it IS rocket science

Picture a 6 year old teaching me Pokemon. It IS rocket science.

At the Des Moines Science Center... it really IS rocket science.

Geocaching isn't rocket science, but we only found 3 of the 5 we hunted.

2012 June 20 -- Ain't supposed to happen

Amaryllis is for winter and Christmas. Ain't supposed to bloom in June!

2012 June 15 -- Excitement at the Tri-County Fair

Exciting... antique tractor pull... lots of putt-putt and bu-bu-bu-rrrrr and the crowd goes wild!

Exciting... Nice dairy cows all lined up in a row... lots of munch-crunch and the crowd goes wild!

Exciting... Lots of kids on the rides... and the crowd goes Ooooooh!

2012 June 4 -- Glorious, east and west

 

  Well, this one was a little storm to the north.
It threw this long shadow to the horizon to the east. Waiting for the full moon to rise.

Several evenings ago, as we sat watching the sunset, B2 made a big sweeping u-turn. It's way up there.
Monday, May 28 is Memorial Day. I salute the Soldiers, honor the Veterans.
I am so proud to be an American!
