Aw, come ON, Mike!

We didn't.

30 Sept., 2011 - Late in the day

The last one.
Night blooming cereus blooms just once a year, had about a dozen blossoms on it while I was gone to Colorado. The last one opened the night I got home.

16 Sept., 2011 -- Still more departures

Tram ride took us to the top of the mountain above Glenwood Springs, CO at the 50th class reunion, but we had to depart the mountain on a bus, because of an approaching storm.
Today, friend Karen and I are gypsies relaxing back in Rodeo, New Mexico, after Santa Fe and Colorado.
Departure planned for Saturday morning, heading for Carlsbad Caverns, then the two day drive to Missouri.

3 Sept., 2011 -- More departures

Who, me?
Such big eyes you have!
Tree frog was on my arm,
then decided to depart the area. Too many great big eyes staring at it! (Samantha got this one).

These two (yes, there are two) bullfrogs tolerated us for awhile. Then...

Zing! Sling shot takeoff!
Cameron got these pictures.

Toss in a rock, and...

Torpedo launch!

Just a day at the pond. What did you do on your holiday weekend?

28 Aug., 2011 -- Preparing for departure

Preparing for departure
Ben and Dave air up the tires...

Lloyd repairs the mufflers...
We are all getting ready to depart...
Take-off!

18 August, 2011 -- Perfect

It was a perfect shower.
The sun was shining, the rain noisily splattered on the metal roof,
and the rainbow spanned the blue afternoon sky off to the east.

Almost perfect. Keep in mind that on the first night of bowling, you don't want to bowl too well, because you're setting an average that you need to maintain the rest of the season.

Well, HP bowled an all-time
high game to start off the night. Ok, not perfect, but he's happy. Got to keep it up, now.

14 Aug., 2011 -- Fullmoonwriting

It's like the American Flag... it just makes you feel good!
