6 Nov., 2009 -- Wow! Look at THAT!

The C130 landed as Cam and I prepped the Archer for the trip back from
Jefferson City to Mtn. Grove this morning.
We watched the last of the Hueys start up, testing and hovering.

Look out, little guys, I'm biggern y'all. Yummy, crunchy outside, soft inside!

I guess this is why they call him "Fat Albert".

We finally took off, climbed out above the turbulence, and did some
sightseeing around Jeff City.

Corn maze just off the southeast end of the airport.

Cam did some of the piloting on the way home!

Grant ready to fly

Well, maybe not.

Jeff city - the BIG dogs

Three landed ahead of me, three followed me in. There will be a C130 on the ramp in the morning when I head back to 1MO in the morning.

28 Oct., 2009 -- It's a door, (again), almost!

Well, ok... one down, one door to go

Exciting stuff, huh...

Thought it was snow? Well, no... it's shredded paper mulching
the blueberry bushes. Fooled ya. It's almost Halloween. Got
your costume ready? Hmmm, I've gotta go find my broom...

27 Oct., 2009 -- Search and Rescue in Colorado

My niece Jody, in western Colorado, is on a Search and Rescue team.
They were hunting for more clues in a morbid homicide case that happened
in June. These photos were from a couple of news clips.

When I asked Jody about this next photo, she replied:

I was mortified because Dessa just ate the evidence!!!!!!

Just kidding!!!! She had shook her head and splattered me with
who knows what....slobber, bear *&^%^, mud and probably horse apples.
Yum.Yum.

Dare to call me a priss now!!!!!

26 Oct., 2009 -- Fractals. Fractals? Yeah, fractals!

Ok, so the computer generates these from a little formula,
you can download it to your computer from this site:
http://fractalicawakening.com/tierazon.htm
Unzip it and play on!

Zoom in, then zoom in again, and again...

Same formula, different color set, zoom in.
Oh, well... some of it I do understand, some of it I don't.
It doesn't matter, it makes pretty pictures.

I know, I know... you think I don't have enough to do...
