21 Feb. 2013 -- Still for the birds

Once again, it's 20 degrees, this time with freezing rain and snow. Not much, though. Just enough to send the birds on a feeding frenzy. Hey, it's still winter. Wind is blowing. No whining.

22 January, 2013 -- It's for the birds

It's 20 degrees out here, too cold for me to wait on more colorful birds to show up, cardinals, goldfinches, doves and other black and whites. The two red-tailed hawks were in the pasture, and didn't come closer before flying off into the woods. Haven't seen any eagles this winter, but they've been reported being around.

Rain. Ok, freezing rain. Sun makes it pretty, but not quite warm.

Almost some sun today.

Almost too much snow to fly.

Almost enough snow to ski.

Almost too bumpy for takeoff...
