1 Oct., 2009 -- Mowing, mooing, milling around

Maybe the last mowing for the season... maybe.
This bull always hangs over the fence on the way to the airport... maybe he wants to go flying!
Well, the starlings are flying, milling millions! This was the third flight that left the tree before I got to it. How come they don't bump into each other?
Gray day, supposed to rain, didn't. Just another blustery day in the 100 acre wood.

30 Sept., 2009 - - Ok, it's late, but I'll do it

At the EAA hangar in Willow Springs, Bill and Berlin and Jerry were puttin' the color to the Pietenpol wings (that's an airplane, you know).

That's the flight simulator in the background, and I was checking out the computer, making sure it would be working for the OZ festival on Saturday coming up.

26 Sept., 2009 -- Ok, some aviation stuff

Ben and John went out for a jaunt to Doc's grass field north of town.



I flew the Archer all the way to Willow Springs! Visited Sandy,
then on the way home, had to dodge this rain shower.

Willow has brand new surface and new striping and numbers. West Plains is still closed while the taxiway work is underway.

September 22, 23 and 24, 2009 First days of Autumn.

With a few drizzles, mostly the days are just gray.

21 Sept., 2009 -- Last day of summer

Stormy Monday night ushers in the autumn season! Autumn already!

Sunday we trekked around (more like up and down) at
Ha Ha Tonka State Park, at Camdenton, on Kelly's 18th birthday.
The mission was to take Kelly's senior pictures. Friend Ashley
and Kelly were hamming it up. Then bro Ralph and Mama Dev got into the act.

There are many more pics, with Papa Grant and little bro Cam.
Sis Sammie J stayed home to work on a movie she's producing.
